Here they go with that "all original..." claim again. But what the heck.

Still a pretty unusual car, would be a fun driver.

But let's look at it another way……   It's a clean well cared for car and all of the "bits" that
were added could easily be removed…….   To me it's another Kaiser that is still alive and
kicking - and that's the important thing in my book.   My grandfather was a Whitney fan
and his 51 Ford looked like a battle wagon going down the road - but he thought it was
the sharpest car on the road.    We all have our preferences…… !!!!!!

I didn't intend my comment to be a criticism of the car.  Only the "all original" claim that's being made about it.  It's likely a fine car and yes every owner/restorer has their preferences but I take issue with the "all original" claim. Modifications don't make cars bad.

And I personally love all those Whitney-type add-ons. I have Foxcraft fenderskirts on Old Toby along with an outside mirror from Balkamp and, at one time, had the coolest set of double curb feelers.

Actually, these things are a more accurate representation of what cars were truly like back in the day when they were new.  Everyone customized their cars in the 1950-1960s or so.  It's too bad that it has become a lost/forgotten art.
