In search of ideas for the return spring for the safety catch/latch...I've been trying to make a few different ones work but have probably been more fun to watch chasing them around the garage😬...I see the base and latch(to be modified) are available, but I'm struggling on the trivial return spring...has anyone been able to locate one that will work? Or one to modify with a better outcome?
