Darrin trunk latch (not the mechanism)
« on: April 25, 2017, 01:06:00 PM »
Greetings All, I apologize in advance but I have a question on one of the trivial parts...(see pics) Is this trunk latch unique to the Darrin or also from other models? I have a few more things to start fabbing and was going to add this to the next batch on my To-Do-List. As you can see, its seen better days:-)
Regards,
Noah

What's pictured is the same as 53-55 Kaiser.

This is Art Griffin trying to sweet talk a balky Darrin hood latch. It did not succumb.

I keep a really long screwdriver handy for just such a predicament. And, I've used it!
