The bus was designed and built by Kaiser Engineers, Inc, right after the war.  The body is sheet magnesium to decrease the weight of the vehicle.  One account indicates that 6 were built for the Santa Fe railroad.  Santa Fe used the busses as 'jitney" service between train stations of different rail routes to "connect" the lines.  Other accounts indicate that only 1 bus was built and the picture with that shows the thing marked "Kaiser Engineers" rather than the Santa Fe markings.

I don't have any of the specifications, etc on it.  Unfortunately, the concept never caught on.

There is a nice color full page ad on this bus.  I heard that only the one bus was made.
