WTB Henry J Hubcaps
« on: June 05, 2017, 09:17:09 AM »
I am looking for a complete set or more of Henry J moon hubcaps. I would like them to be perfect and not need any repairs or such. Let me know what you have. Thanks

Be aware that there are two styles available. The first style, used on the 51 cars has the valve stem hole below the center K. The later style has the hole above the K. This was done because the caps were also used with the continental kits and the valve stem needed to be at the 12 o'clock position.

Actually, the two styles of baby moon types, which you are asking about, are those with stainless steel "skin" and those with chrome "skin." I'm not sure which was the first type used, they were both made by Eaton.  Based on what I've observed, I believe the stainless ones were the earlier type.  I have many of both. I'll check to see if I have some nice ones.

Those are 1951 Kaiser wheel covers not hub caps.  I have a set of good used ones for a Henry J but they are not new.  I bought them for $100 about five years ago.

Just moving this thread back to the top to see if anyone has any Henry J hubcaps they are looking to sell. I have been scouring the internet over the past few months and nothing of any quality has turned up. I would like to have four (or more) really nice caps, but if you have some pretty good ones I might be interested. Let me know what you have, thanks!!

I have always thought that Baby Moon caps are these, not the full disc's on other posts. I have some for my HenryJ's but they are driver quality and not for sale but you never know.

Here are some for a larger wheel for example.
