Aero after market front suspension
« on: July 04, 2017, 09:04:51 PM »
I am starting to look into a Mustang 2 type of IFS for my Aero. I want a modern suspension with easily obtained replacement parts, disc brakes, and a 5 bolt pattern to match my Ford 8" rear. Does anyone here have any experience with a kit that would make a good starting point for an Aero?
Thanks.

Start here. Fat Man is the biggest supplier of IFS and the also build to order.

Thanks for the lead. With so many options out there it's hard to know where to start.  I'll give them a look.

So my front end is completely disassembled and I can't find my notes on the original width of the Aero front end.  Can I get a measurement from someone?  I'm looking for the distance from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.
Thank you.

59" track width is what I recall. That closely matches the rear axle's 58.5". Correct me if you have different info.
