Heater
« on: July 05, 2017, 06:49:02 PM »
No heat coming from the unit in my '54 Special. Fan works, no leaks in interior or engine bay. The screw-type valve on top rear of engine is open (turned up/out). New anti-freeze. Engine not overheating. With blower on full no heat coming into the car. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

With the engine warm check both heater hoses. Are both hot to the touch? If not, either a valve that's supposed to be open isn't, or the core is clogged.

Not that it's running yet, but changed out the shutoff valve on the Darrin...it was completely blocked and the thermostat had crust over the top too.

Will check hose temps, and valve. Thanks for the quick replies.
