Sharing photos

I'm a novice at the computer so do not know how to post photos.  Wish I did.  It's a beautiful day in central Louisiana so I have uncovered my red and white (museum colors) 54 Kaiser Manhattan 4 door, and opened the doors so that it can air out.

Your car was certainly seen by thousands of people when it was attached to the outside of the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles and was always a nice sight to see.    The museum was redesigned with a very controversial new style and I wish that it still had that nice Kaiser to view.  I also wish that they had made a postcard of it but the Peterson never offered postcards until recently.  I am sure that many people had taken pictures of it when attached to the building.  I wish that I had!

Thank you, Gordie.  That thought had not occurred to me.  I have several photos of it on the building before it was removed and as it was being removed.  When I learn how I will post them.

Hey, Thanks, Barbara.  Yep, that's it.  NOT the right colors, but a real eye catcher.

Carpenter:
Take a minute and refresh us on this car.  I remember an old thread. Or maybe someone with more skill can resurrect the old thread.

Wrong color?  Man that's a great color!
No old cars owned.

Here's Carpenter's Post regarding color.... ;)

"I am the proud owner of a 1954 4 door Kaiser Manhattan which I purchased from an individual who had bought it from the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.  It 99%+ rustless.  It is supposed to be light green with a dark green top, but the museum had it painted bright red with a bright white top.  It attracts a lot of attention being those colors.

I am trying to find and keep up with all 54-55s that are in my part of the country.  Had no idea it was going to be such a major task.

If I had the money new 54-55s would be rolling off the assembly line on a regular basis.  The styling of no other auto matches them."

Noah
