Does anyone have a copy of the Kaiser-Frazer Service Standards for 1951 Henry J Date: Unknown Form #: Unknown
I have a copy of the Kaiser-Frazer Service Standard for 1951-1952-1953 Henry J Date: NoV 1952 Form # X-19524
In this X-19524 the Coil for an Auto-Lite Electrical (1951 HJ and '52 HJ Vagbond) is a CR-6009A. I actually have three of these that have been tested and are found to be within specifications. All of them have an integral mounting clamp. I also have an Autolite Service Parts Catalog 1952 edition. It does not list an CR-6009A. It shows for a 1951-52 Henry J a CR-6005 Coil with a IG-1944 Mounting Bracket. I like to look at the earlier KF HJ Service Standard to see what it calls out for a coil. It could be that Autolite discontiued the CR-6005 and replaced it with the CR-6009A.
