"Kaiser radio" on ebay, caveat emptor
« on: March 15, 2018, 07:44:49 AM »
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-54-Kaiser-Radio-w-Push-Buttons-used-to-restore/162946147137?hash=item25f058e341:g:wmgAAOSwPoZaqYD9&vxp=mtr

It's not a Kaiser radio. It's a '49- mid '50s Ford radio which was mounted in Kaiser and had the front delete plate modified to fit it.  The ad states "WE  HAVE  BEEN  TOLD  BY  A  KAISER  COLLECTOR  THAT  THIS  COULD  BE  CORRECT  FOR  ALL  ' 53  MODELS  OR  THE  SPECIAL  MODEL  ONLY  IN  ' 54."  Beware of that word "could" as this is dead wrong.
If you look at the pictures, the one that shows the bottom of it even says 'F M Co' on it - Ford Motor Company.  It looks like it was nicely done but the seller was mis-informed. If you need a Ford radio, this may be your opportunity.

It is a Ford Motor Company product.

Maybe the "Kaiser Collector" collects Kaiser Bier Steins and glasses.
