Haven't posted in a while as we have been keeping busy. Did the Muckenthaler Concours, Frazier Park, one in Huntington Beach, The BBQ Festival and car show in Costa Mesa where we got best original, Tustin, Cruis'n Brea, La Habra, where we won 5 raffle prizes. Then spent 2 weeks for work in Florida, where I went to a few antique stores and got a '50s Brownie camera for the car. Since then its been real hot here but we did a show at The Pike in Long Beach, a cruise night in Cerritos where we won one raffle prize, the coolest car award and the $227 50/50! Another in Long beach netted the best orphan award and yesterday in Norwalk we got an very nice award from the president of the California Elks. Comming up is El Segundo, Belmont Shore, another in Long Beach, and one on the Redondo Beach Pier. Haven't seen any other Kaisers out there but we talk to a lot of people about it. One guy is working on one and another sold me a very rare hardcover book that is the 1947 report that Floyd Clymer wrote about buying a Kaiser in Willow Run then driving back to Los Angeles. Its a very detailed report on the Kaiser and he talked to other Kaiser owners including a 3000 response survey. It has lots of great photos too.
