2019/2020 Nationals??

Do we have places and dates for the 2019 and 2020 KFOCI Nationals???   I am trying to coordinate my schedule even though it is far out.   I know 2019 is near Fort Worth, just don't know the proposed dates and I remember 2020 was between Montana and Bend, Oregon, again, I don't know the proposed dates.

Your newest Bulletin lists the 2019 meet at Granbury Texas on July 14-19.  Phone numbers for contacts with the meet chairmen are also listed.  2020 is not yet finalized but you can contact the Western Division Mgr, Jim Betts for updates.

The 2020 convention is tentatively slated for Montana - Kalispell I believe (don't quote me). The dates are TBD because summer tourist season hotel space is at a premium as that part of the country has 11 months of winter and four weeks of tough sledding...

The information presented so far here is correct.  Jim Betts and others coordinating the 2020 convention are going out to the most likely facility for the convention this month, to negotiate final room rates and some other details.

Once Upon a Time... The Studebaker Drivers Club had their National (International) Meet in South Dakota in the later part of September, thus breaking the rule that car conventions had to be after school let out for Summer and before school started in August. I and my brother wanted to go but the determination was not great enough for us to go.
I was under the impression that things got cheaper after Labor Day since the kids all had to be in school. I found out a few years ago that lodging in the Dakotas and Wyoming didn't get cheaper until October.
It is good to talk about possible National Meet locations well in advance, because issues can be discussed. Kalispell MT sounds interesting but it is going to be a long drive for everyone. The hosts should be considering that a lot of members would fly in.
