You can not find many nice low mileage originals anymore.  Here is a car that you can jump into and drive!

That is a perfect balance between cost and enjoyment. $10,000 is more than fair.  Love this car. Worth every penny provided all things are true in person.  You get to own and enjoy a time capsule, take to shows.

This is rare to see, but is the poster child of why it is not worth it to buy a "project" car for $2500 or $3K.  ALL KF project cars not called Darrin, or maybe convertible, should be $500 cars, more or less.  Otherwise, be patient and look for these.

Also had a question about that battery. I have never owned a running / driving 6V era car.  I do seem to have it in my mind that the 6V batteries are long and skinny.  This one is wider like a modern battery but with 3 cells.  Where would you buy a battery like this?

I don't know where that info came from as I've never seen a long skinny 6 volt battery. It's possible they exist. I've seen long skinny 12 volt batteries which were used in Cadillacs and Buicks of the era.

This car has the typical 6 volt battery that they all (KF products and most other 6 volt cars) used. You can get one at NAPA or any Tractor parts vendor.

The under hood six volt Buick batteries of the late thirties and forties were all long and skinny and maybe some other makes also.

Thanks Gordie. I've never seen one but now I'll keep my eyes open when looking at cars from the 1930s.

KF used a 6 volt group one battery and they are still available today. Just about every farm tractor produced thru the late 50s used them and places like Tractor Supply carry them.

This 41 Buick has the skinny Delco 2ED style battery. They're not as easy to find.
