wow, interesting item. Thanks for sharing. I looked at the tag and down below it says Packard Electric Division of General Motors. I wondered if there was any connection to the motor car company so I googled it and found that in 1932 GM bought Packard Electric, that company having been spun off of the Packard Motor Car company way back in 1902. When we were kids in the 1950s in our neighborhood we never saw an electric mower, so indeed this would be rare.
