Blue 1948 Kaiser Custom Ride.

Does Anyone know This Owner, Hopefull Club Member ? This is a Rare 1948 Kaiser Custom, Blue with Blue Leather Interior.

Hi G.B.  - as I understand it, this car is in a museum in the LA area.  It is one of 2 '48 Customs I've seen with leather (you know the other one).

It's identified as a '47 Special but never trust what someone on that site calls it because so many are wrong.  If you look at the other pictures, in the comments sections, you can see the chrome rocker trim and in the other pic the 'Custom' script is clearly visible.

I don't believe they have the car there anymore.  about two or three years ago, we had a Kaiser/Frazer meet there and saw all the cars they had and there were no Kaisers on site.  That video was in 2012.   I know the driver and the next time I see him, I will ask (if I remember) about that car and that drive.

I visited the museum the month that they bought the car and when i saw it on display I noticed that the sign merely said  "1948 Kaiser.  I talked to the curator about it and they did not know that it was a special car so when I got home I emailed some facts about the car.  That was several years ago.  It is a nicely restored car that looks like it would be a winner anywhere.  I believe that the name is California Driving Museum.  They rotate their cars so it is possible that it is still a part of the museum and they also have a Kaiser or Frazer convertible.

Steve said He is Working on the 1947-50 rare Vehicles. I said Oh did You see the Blue Kaiser Custom with Blue Leather interior ?  Not The Green One as Fid said He & We Know so Well.

I get concerned when The Driver (Nothing Personal) is Driving a Custom with Leather & it’s a 1948 Kaiser ?

Please keep Your Eyes Open for Rare Vehicle’s. Especially some For Sale. I’m The One to sliped on This because it was on You Tube & You think Everyone in Club watched it.

Rudy Phillips has some very interesting cars including a straight original '48 Black Frazer Manhattan with black leather interior that he only wanted $1,000 for.  I don't know if he still has it but I saw some convertibles there and Kaiser Bill has several unusual cars in his barn.

I don't remember him on the forum but he has been a member for many years and has a wonderful museum and collection of K-F products plus about a hundred cars on his back acres.
