It's a 1955 400 hardtop. It's in a separate for sale thread on the AACA forum, but the same estate owns it as well as the Kaiser's.

I suspect the Packers goes for less than $4000.   Restored 55 400s can be had for $14,000 to $17,000.  But cost to restore one is like most chrome - y 50’s cars about $75,000.

Agreed...........a '55/'56 Packard is a very good example of a car that you can buy nicely finished for way less than the restoration cost (and restoration aggravation  ).

There were no Club Coupe models built after the later series 1952's.  This reflected lack of dealer orders and only that point.  The 1953 Club Sedan was the new name for the regular 2-door sedan body.

Production counts out of Willow Run for the coupes is as follows:

1951 Special club coupes.  There were NONE!  This is based on monthly production counts for the period March 1950 through November 1951.    While the monthly production sheets have a line for the business coupe there is no line for the club coupe.  Deluxe Club Coupes account for 2,215 vehicles during the period March 1950 through November 1951.  Some additional Deluxe Club Coupes were assembled at Long Beach and Portland but I have no numbers on them (probably total, both plants is less than 40).

1952 Special or Deluxe Club Coupes.  I can document a total of 8 1952 Kaiser Virginian Deluxe Club Coupes.  Seven went out of Willow Run and 1 went out of Long Beach.  It is possible a handful of additional examples assembled either at Portland or Long Beach may have been built.  These are the only 1952 base-line series Club Coupe types that can be identified.  Kaiser Manhattan Club Coupes total only 250 for the K5227 type coupe.  This is not only documented on monthly production sheets (which were on fille in the Bancroft Library's Special Collectionbs departmnent) but inter-office memos written in March and April 1952 discussing changes to daily production scheduling.

Thanks as always for your insight and filling in the knowledge gaps.  The Maroon car must have been a Deluxe then, and maroon is a friendly color for that model, it looked quite nice to me.
