The ebay auction is a good barometer. The project cars - like the super rare club coupes - have NO MARKET, therefore their value might be $100 over crusher price. The seller of the 2 x Frazer Vagabonds has a double problem here. No one wants 2. That's double to expense, space etc.
This is really disheartening. 10-20 years ago a 51 short production Frazer Vagabond would have been gobbled up by the restorers in the KFOCI. Now those members are too old and not interested. Club coupes going off to be crushed.
So the answer to your pricing question Chris is to place your Vagabond on Craigs List "yesterday" at your cost plus $100 or so and drop the price in accordance to when it absolutely must go. You may need to give it away.
It's a seasonal thing too. Here in Iowa it's bitter cold, dead of winter, who wants to move heavy old iron at costs of more than the purchase? I tried to sell my 1990 Buick Reatta convertible, and it got no interest.
