carpeting for 1949 Kaiser Special
« on: March 19, 2019, 08:29:54 AM »
I recently purchased a 1949 Kaiser Special but have not taken delivery and am wondering if carpeting was an option?  if so, does anyone know the type of carpeting and/or the pattern and colors?

Thank you,

Johny

The Special model used a rubber mat on the front floor and a short loop pile carpet with a ribbed pattern for the rear floor.

Thank you for the reply-very helpful.  Any thought as to where I might see a photo of the carpet or even get a remnant?

The front rubber mat is available from the KF Club's manufacturing fund. The rear carpet will have to be sourced elsewhere. Attached is a not-so-good picture of the carpet on the foot rest (lower back of the front seat).

Thank you.  This is very helpful.  As for color I am thinking a dark brown if available.
