Benedict Castle Concours. A WIN!!!
« on: March 31, 2019, 07:36:24 PM »
Attended the Benedict Castle Concours sponsored by Meguiars Car Care Products and the Petersen Automotive Museum (just to name a few) and I won 1st place in the 1946 - 1954 American classic car category (Class 1).   There were over 290 cars at this show with a wide range of vehicles, check out their websites address:  https://crossroadscarshows.com/

Had a great time and I was invited to many upcoming upscale concours events, even prior to winning.   They all liked the car and my presentation of creating a story about the era.   Will keep you informed.

I am using Evans Waterless coolant in my car and it seems to be handling the heat fine.  I went with them to stop using ethylene glycol base coolants which will last forever and I won't have to worry about changing it every few years.   You must make sure your cooling system is working well and is clean first.

Congratulations, I never made it to that show. Our first car show here in Oregon is not until mid April.
