Do you ever have anything good to say.
Anyone can buy parts from the club you don’t have to be a member.
Just call Adam he will take care of you.

The gas tanks have been in the development stage for at least six months with photos and prices posted on this website.  There was also a notice that not many would be made so if you need one it is first come first served after the people who pre-ordered get theirs.  Your complaints do not make any sense.

The tanks, the price, and where to send the check has been in the Bulletin for months....but then again, you're a 'lone wolf' x-member.

I received my Darrin gas tank a few weeks ago, it looks great. My question now is what color should it be? My old tank was black but I don't know if it should be painted at all or is there a color it should be and  gloss or flat.

I cannot give a good response as my original is nothing but rust...It does have remains of undercoating on it.

Contact Randy Rutherford, the club's chief judge for info on gas tank paint color or if paint is needed.

As c;lub members indicated, this is a project of the club's manufacturing fund not by an eBay vendor.  Non-members can lose out on a lot of things that are advertised or otherwise noted in club publications.  Being a forum member is NOT the same as being a club member.  The gas tank project is another examnple of how the club tries to give its members value.  FYI, besides running the Darrin gas tank, the project included nedw HJ/Allstate gas tanks.  I ordered (and received) one as a spare for our 1952.
