I attended the recent auction in Indiana last week that was advertised in the last Bulletin to bid on a bunch of Kaiser-Frazer promotional models and there were two Henry J's and many NOS and used parts as well as 400 model kits and tables full of new and used tools. The seller had been an airplane mechanic and had many antique cars, Corvettes and many car parts. Both Henry J's were '51's. One was complete but very rough with no floors and I was surprised that it brought over $2,000 while the other was complete but missing the engine and transmission and had many NOS parts in boxes inside the car. It brought over $5,000 and many parts in the auction were for Henry J's and probably belonged to this car including a NOS pair of floor mats in gray, NOS emblems and sets of nice wheel covers for Henry J's. There was even a pair of rare Allstate emblems and a NOS '51 Kaiser hood ornament. Many Kaiser parts were in their boxes as received from the sellers including Terry Zeug. The Henry J brought more money than two nicely restored 1939 Crosley convertibles so there is still good demand for Henry J's.
