Window fuzzy strips

I installed new window "fuzzies" in my '51 Kaiser this week. Certainly gives it a more finished look. That will certainly will stop any window rattle and help to keep your car quieter.  Did the Henry J originally use black strips or the ones with the stainless steel trim?

Looks good, nice paint color too. I just did the first of 4 windows on my car this weekend.

Ah ha...I see a Henry J parked in the background.  Excellent choice.  Do you have the part numbers of both the fuzzy that mounts on the top of the steel door like you are doing on your Kaiser and the channel that fits into the door window frame that the glass slides in for the Henry J?

Unfortunately, no I don't. I remember way back in the '70s I helped my dad replace some window channel in a Henry J and as I recall it, it was the same used in the International Harvester trucks he worked on so that may be worth checking out.  I also thought Rudy Philips has the window channel but I don't have his current catalog.

Window channel is easy to find and comes in the two styles, either plain or stainless covered.  My low mileage Allstate has the plain so I suspect that is what all had as the Henry J really cut costs when designed.

Edgar Kaiser's HJ has the stainless trim on the fuzzies. That's the one that's mostly likely to be original but I don't know for sure.
When I replaced them in my '52 Vagabond, I put the stainless steel trim at the top because that's the way the ones I took out were.  Don't know if they were original or not. I don't recall what I did on my '53 J.

I just did weather strips & window channel in my Aero. Got everything matched at Restoration Specialties, pretty sure I saw Kaiser noted somewhere in the pages of strip & channel in their catalog.
