Hola from Mexico!
When I saw the first pictures of this car I thought it was my old one which, had I known what would be happening to it, would not have been sold in March 2009. While color is the same on the outside and mine was a later deluxe, my car had overdrive rather than automatic, better chrome all around, but had significant front seat wear on the driver side. In otherwords it is not my old car. However, given the pictures, I would guess you would have to put in at least another 7-9 thousand dollars to re-due all the chrome (including bumpers) paint the dash (upper) the correct color, and do all the other work it appears to need. A better price for the car given that it appears to be a condition 4 would be closer to 5-6 thousand in today´s poor market for K-F products.
It is too bad that people do not do their homework before putting a car up for sale. It is true Kaiser-Frazer, Nash, Hudson and some other types rarely go up for sale, but unless you find the pérfect buyer, the cars are not worth all that much compared to what people expext them to be due to scarcity. If that was the case, I would expect a Star, Durant, Locomobile or Huppmobile to bring well into the 6 figure range due to their scarcity.
