I saw the activity on Wednesday night (3/11/2020)  and noted a lot of cars including high performance cars were going well under expectations.  I expect it will get worse before it gets better.  I can only hope that the buyer wanted a driver  and did there homework as there were a number of things not correct on this car, according to the pictures.

I'd like to contact the new owner and see if they'd be interested in trading that Allstate hood ornament for a '53 style.  Considering it went for such a low price, my guess is we'll see it on a dealer site soon for about 3 times that much.

Wow!  that was a steal for the buyer and that is the risk of putting your car in an auction with no reserve.  If there is a small crowd there will be no real buyers.  I'm sure that the buyer bought it just because of the low price.  Two rusted out basket case Henry J's brought $5,500 each at an auction in Indianapolis last summer and there is probably $10,000 profit to be made with this one.  Too bad!
