That is correct; While the Traveler and Vagabond utility cars (the hatchbacks) often had the jack parts stored in their side compartments, the last sedans to have a special mounting for the jack parts were the 1950 models. Often, dealers set the jack stand, etc, on the "shelf" trunk area of 1951-55 Kaisers. The photo attached shows where the Ford people writing up a "Competitive Intelligence Report" on the 1952 Kaiser Virginian found the car jack stand. It was put there by the dealer as part of the retail delivery preparation activity.
