That is impressive.  It has '51 Kaiser wheelcovers on the driver side and it looks like a '49 Frazer steering wheel with the center bar removed but niether of those things make it a bad car in any way. It will be interesting to see if and what it sells for. Examples such as that one are very few and far between these days.  I like it.

I looked at the info and asked the seller to update the post with the body number off the firewall tag.  There could be an interesting bit of history associated with the car but I want to see a body number to be certain

Yes, Was that not the information you requested?  The pictures I tried taking for you were dark and not readable. I thought by printing out the info it would be readable.  The ... you put after your post indicated you were not happy with my response?  If you are truly interested in pursuing the car, give me a call.  If the info you requested was just for curiousity sake, or for your registry that is fine also.  Sorry it was not the answer you were looking for.

The door post serial number suggests this was one of the last 1951 Frazers in the F515 series built.  As there were far more sedans than Vagabonds, I was wondering if this might be the last (or one of the last) of the Vagabonds.  The Body Serial Number, marked Body Number is the 4 digit number on the bottom of the firewall body tag.  It will be a considerably lower number than what's on the door post as the Body Number identifies how many model specific (Vagabond, 4-door sedan) bodies were built as part of the entire F515 series run (the door post number). 

There are also numbers at the SCHED and ITEM headers that could identify when the body was built

Body numbers started at 1001, making this the 2,840th Vagabond body to be produced. According to the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation Operating Report for the 10 months ending October 31, 1950, 2,951 1951 Frazer Vagabonds were produced.  88 of them will have an "A" as part of the door post serial number plate, and all of these should be lower body numbers. 

SCHED 49 (as far as is currently known) identifies the date the body started down the fabrication line.  SCHED 1 appears to reflect a date of March 15, 1950.  Look at a calendar set up to show 1950 dates and come forward from that date, not counting Saturday, Sunday and regular holidays (Easter, Good Friday, Memorial Day, etc) when the plant would have been closed.  Off the top of my head, not having such a calendar available to me, it would seem like the body was built up during the middle of May 1950.   ITEM number was place on the schedule...again, as far as is currently known, lower numbers reflect a start earlier in the day.  Roughly 500-600 bodies were started down the line each day at this point.

If you do set up a calendar for 1950, don't forget Memorial Day used to be May 30th (as opposed to the last Monday in May as it is now) so if May 30, 1950 fell on a Saturday or Sunday, it would be a normal weekend and the last Monday won't be a day off.
