'54 KM heater blower switch

Is the heater blower switch for a '54 KM just an on-off one speed switch, or should it have low-med-hi?  Does it also control fan speed for the defroster?

The blower switch is a two speed unit and the defroster air is sourced from the air flow directed into car.  If the fan is on low then the air coming into the car for heat or defrost is low speed.
