2010 Dixie Region Meet

Wow.  I planned for 10 months and it was over in the blink of an eye.  We had fantastic weather in North Georgia Oct 1, 2 and 3 with 50's at night, high 70's daytime, blue skies, no humidity and breezy.  We had 5 Kaisers and 1 Frazer here, plus 10 other Orphans showed up for our show.  We viewed a fantastic private classic car collection in Tucker, GA, and yes, they own a Tucker!  Long distance award went to Muriel Tinsley, 430 miles one way from Kentucky!  He also won 3rd place people's choice with his '52 Manhattan.  My '54 Manhattan took 2nd place and Charles Massey's '51 Frazer Manhattan took 1st place.  Bill Tilden spoke about the history of KF and the KFOCI at our delicious dinner of southern BBQ.  Look me up on Facebook and request friendship to see photos:  Frank Pudysz.  We may try it again next fall, a great time to visit Georgia.

I've already sent a write up to Mike Barker, along with photos.  We had Arlan & Vonnie Zimmerman, Mike and Deb Wilson, Muriel and Cathy Tinsley and 2 guests, me and my wife, my mom, Gary and LaDonna Mathis with daughter Kaitlyn, Sam and Joann Mathis, Wally and Carol Walter, Wayne and Judith Culver, Drake Fallentine, Charles Massey with his wife, his son and daughter in law, Nelson and Pat Walker with their granddaughter, Ron Freeman, Bill Tilden and his wife, Rick Kamen, Richard Kickok, Charlie Brown and his wife, and a few local orphan club members.

We are already discussing a replay for next year, either in the same general area, or elsewhere in Dixie if we can find someone who knows their own area enough for us to make it work.  I will not repeat my own mistakes again.
