I have an engine/hydramatic from a '54 Early special-the engine is not usable, the Xmission is possibly OK and certainly has parts. I was never able to turn the engine-got 4 pistons out but the other two are royally stuck-seems beyond corrosion. Need to separate the hydro with as little damage as possible. Baseline is to saw through everything ahead of the flywheel. Hopefully there is a better place/way to make this separation? Need to get this done so I can get the engine out of the '53 I'm restoring and get at that. Anyone out there been there done that? Doug Pledger #947
