Need a speedometer driven gear for a 1951 Henry J.
« on: October 22, 2008, 09:21:14 PM »
I have a 4:55 rear end and a Warner t96-10 standard (not overdrive) transmission.
According to my shop manual it has 18 teeth (early 4 cylinder).
Help!!!! My 4 banger is so fast I'm afraid I'm going to get a ticket on the freeway!!!
Any information about where I might possibly get one would be appreciated.
I've already tried the Kaiser-Willys-Jeep website,  Terry Zeug and Rudy Phillips with no luck.

Thanks in advance to all!

MikeZ...I believe Seth Jones may have those drive gears.

Hi, I have a lot of KF parts. If you have a part number I will check to see if I have one. Don Ross

Hi Don (Kaiser78)

Happiness is: wanting what you have, not having what you want!
Sorry for the slow response.
I was on vacation, then the holidays, just like everyone else I guess!
Now that I've sobered up from New Years I'm ready to go again!! Only kidding.

If I'm reading my HJ parts list correctly the part I'm looking for is called a pinion and the HJ or KF part number is 212361.

Dan, (Kaiser 78)...

I'm looking for a few parts for my 54 Kaiser.  If you could please e-mail me so I have your e-mail address, I will let you know what I need.  Thanks, Mike Fleming mbfleming@aol.com
