Good morning - That sounds reasonable, my darrin has wires and the center cap measures 7". The caps have the Kaiser "K" on them, not spelled out.

I have a set of the wire wheel caps and they have no design on them and they were chrome plated to match the wheels.  This cap appears to have been painted black.  I hope someone can identify it.
