Henry J Radiator Hoses
« on: February 07, 2011, 07:23:42 PM »
Can anyone tell me where to find the moulded radiator hoses for my 52 HJ? I called Rudys, and he cant get them any more.I went to NAPA and they can get them, but they are in fex hose.It would look a lot better in moulded, for the top and bottom.Any help on this will be appreciated.

Is the car a four cylinder or a six? The hoses are different.
The lower hose for the six cylinder is NAPA NBH 7274.

The one I was told that works for the upper is NAPA NBH 7299 -

I was not able to make that one work so I returned it. I found out later it needs to be cut but if you don't have a factory photo of how it's suppose to look, it may be difficult to figure out how to cut it properly.
Now, the good news is, NAPA NBH 7274, which works for the lower hose, also works for the upper as well, it just won't look exactly like the factory photos.
I'd also caution that you get the 7274 from NAPA only. I had O'Reilly cross it to their number when I needed one a couple of years ago and their's is about 1" shorter and won't work on the top. It may still work on the bottom.

If it's a four cylinder, you may want to try Walck's 4 Wheel Drive at -

They sell a lot of parts that interchange with the J.

I mis-typed on the original post and I went back and fixed the lettering. It is not 2474 but 7274 as it now states. The links in the previous post show the correct hoses, just my typing was wrong. Sorry about the confusion.

Does someone have a NAPA # for the 4cyl upper and lower rad hoses? I tried the # in the list NAPA 7728 but got nothing, thanks, Henry.
