Inappropriate Postings

Hello,

I am a regular paricipant in this blog and tonight I found an extremely disturbing and inappropriate post (animal ***).  Is there any way to remove this disturbing post?  I did not want to stay in there long enough to try it out, but if anyone is more computer savvy than me, could they please remove it?

I notified Chris as soon as I saw it and he is very good about removing this trash.  Anyone can get on our site and they do occassionally.  Maybe we need a password to get on the site to eliminate these jerks.

I notified Chris as well. Unfortunately this kind of stuff happens on internet forums. Although, it usually does not involve images. At least that has been my experience with such spammings. Maybe Chris could appoint a couple of members here as Moderators to more quickly remove these posts and also help out with general forum usage problems.

Hello,
I have noticed a couple of these this week and caught them before they were up for too long.  I try and check in daily to keep up to date on the KF postings, and to make sure there isn't any filth like that showing up.  Don't these people have anything better to do?  They go through all the trouble to sign up as a member just to post one message......Happens once in a while, but I will continue to take them down as necessary.

Thanks Chris. If that person wants to post photos of his family on the net there are plenty of other sites where he can do it - Shutterfly and Fotki to name two.

Thanks Chris, you have removed all trace of them again and we really appreciate your prompt action.  Is there anything we can do keep them off of the site.  They were all different email addresses.

I know one thing that might have helped. On Jeepforum you need to have 40 posts in the technical section to post images. Here 40 posts is quite a lot, but maybe if it was 5 posts or so we wouldn't have seen those "family pictures." I don't know how simple machines works, so that might not be an option.

Some sites require a legit email address and phone number that is verified before you can become a member.  Maybe that would work for us.

Your continuous looking at these messages just incourages him.  Please refrain from opening his messages.  He could be capturing your email address's which will reward you with more messages or worse!

This is getting ridiculous.

These are far worse than the normal spam I get in my email.

Hi guys,
I'm having tons of fun deleting all of these messages so I think I will look into what different measures I can take as far as new members etc.  For now, I would advise not opening the messages if you see them.
