I could say that selling this kind of vehicle, an old one for that matter, is kinda a good thing to have. If you can install some good Allstate parts that would compensate it, then i'm sure that things would have been so much good and better. I hope that you have already sold this one.

Once upon a time...5 Allstates were known to the Club. We had a Regional Meet in Palestine, TX in 1985 and we accounted for 7 more (being owned by the members present) and 5 or 6 more were known but not owned by Club members.
Allstates were sold in Southern states (see the Handbook for more details) and a lot seemed to be sold on the I35 corridor in Texas - i.e. Dallas, Waco, San Antoine.

I remember seeing a new Allstate at the Sears store on Airline Drive in Houston in either 52 or 53. I think the store is still there today. I once bought a box of tools there in one of those "assortment" deals Sears is famous for. The sales guy told me "ok here is the tool box that goes with that." The package I was buying was wrapped in "plain brown paper" and even a dumb kid could see the package likely had a tool  box in it. Anyway I thought well he knows more than me. Of course I had two boxes when I got home. Unfortunately only one set of tools. I gave my brother the spare tool box. I still have mine after all these years and also most of the tools.
