« on: July 30, 2011, 05:52:00 PM »
What is the correct location for the oil baffles behind the valve cover? I have one engine that has a baffle in the rear and middle, and I have another engine with the baffles in the middle and the front. 53 226 engine

Wouldn't baffles be there to reduce splashing an turbulence? If so, one would think that it would be on the inlet side, or by something like a breather /road draft tube hole which could cause turbulence. Interested in hearing the correct answer
