Its back, with a "buy it now" of $6000
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1951-Frazer-4-door-Hardtop-SURVIVOR-/320764064499?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4aaf0732f3

Why isn't it sold? I would snap it up in a minute if I had $6000 handy to spend!!!!

I'd say that's a good buy. It looks like the rockers were replaced as there are no holes for the sill plates. I have a set of Frazer script sill plates...they're really for a 47 but they'd look good on this buggy! I wonder if he'd swap for a nice running 50 Traveler...<grin>

Is anyone in the club close enough to go look at it? I have a friend that is interested in it, but lives here in Mo. Would be nice to get someone to look at it for him, and see how the floors ect are in person. I like it myself, it's a cool model.

My Friend David bought the car. He is a young guy, and this is his first old car. He just joined the club, so Please welcome him. He lives in the Branson Mo. area, so, next year when they have the "orphan car show" ( which they have every year ) He will be there with it, as well as me with my 53 Kaiser Manhattan. Congradulations David.

Your friend got a good deal on a very rare car. Had it been any closer than Utah, I would have entertained a purchase. I know the fellow who owned prior to the recent seller and he did quite a bit of work to the car. It's a solid foundation and can be kept as-is for a great driver. We also welcome the new member!

What a beautiful, rare car, and a good buy!  I was seriously considering purchasing a 51F a little while ago, but never went through with it.  I wonder how long this car spent in my old hometown of Logan, Utah (yes, that's why my handle is "Logan" on this forum).  I certainly didn't know about any 51 Frazers when I lived there.

I test drove the car today, wow, it's great. It has new tires, including new spare, a new exhaust, brakes, brake lines, the fuel tank looks like it was pinted to look new, so I think it must have been flushed, ect.. A brand new battery was put in just before delivery. Yes, it needs a few things, as old cars do, but wow it drove great. I didn't go far, and didn't get the overdrive going, needs just a few small things adjusted, like the wipers ect.. By the way, this is body number S161-1132. Hey Logan , I was told the gentleman that sold this also has a 51 Frazer convertible and a 51 Frazer vegabond. You should be checking Logan Utah a bit better, haha. I don't think the others are for sale at this time though.
