52 Allstate
« on: January 24, 2012, 08:32:13 PM »
I had the pleasure of speaking this evening with a fellow from Minnesota who's busy sprucing up a 52 Allstate. He bought the car from a former member's estate and is doing all of those little things needed to make the car roadworthy. In the course of our conversation, I learned that he needs a few odds and ends to make the car complete. He needs a choke knob, a hood prop rod and the associated spring. He's having trouble logging in to this site so I told him I'd post the request on his behalf.
If anyone has the items wanted, you can contact Ben directly at Benpearson-at-Q.com (substitute @ for -at-...keeps the spambots at bay!)

Ben...here's a pic of the 53 that I mentioned in our conversation.

Jim, I'm glad Ben was able to get ahold of you. Rudy remanufactures the choke knobs. I'll send Ben a copy of Rudy's catalog, which in my opinion, is a must-have for anyone restoring a Henry J / Allstate
