On my '51 Kaiser, the timing is showing 10 degree advanced timing. I need to adjust it to 4 degree
advanced per the shop manual. There is a 7/16 bolt on the advance arm to be loosened, but the
shop manual also lists another bolt. I see a 2 1/4 long screw head bolt on the side of the distributor
that looks like a clamp arrangement. Is this the other bolt the shop manual is referring to? I did
lower the idle to very slow RPM's to check advancement as the manual says. Thanks.
