51F convertible
« on: March 29, 2012, 02:51:19 PM »
OK, I'll kick things off with a couple pix of my 51F convertible. The first shot is of the car in the mid 50s when the original owner had it. He was in the army in Texas and took this shot outside the base. The second photo is of the car when I found it.

Needless to say, it needs a little work. It's now in the possession of Fred Walker's estate in Colorado. It is car #129.

I remember my dad saying there was a  yellow '51  Frazer 4 door convertible in the showroom of NL Motor Sales in Souix Falls, SD in 1950 when they were new. We've always wondered where that car ended up. I think the yellow with black top '51 F convertible is a classy looking car. Almost the Frazer equivilent of a Golden Dragon.

That last picture is enough to make my heart sink. I thought my dad's Convertible and Hardtop were rough.  Forgive me, I do not know what numbers they were/are. [hardtop #1223? Conv #1055?]
