I finally got around to starting to run the new harnesses that I had Mr. McBride make for me. My '48 has the switch for the dome light on the pillar between the drivers side front and rear doors. Mr. Mcbride included in the harness wires to run to the passenger side for a switch there, but my car clearly never had a switch on that side. I'm guessing since he included that wiring that some cars did have a switch on that side. First question is, if I just leave those two wires hooked up to nothing will the dome light still work like it should? Second question is should I just try to locate another switch and add it to the passenger side?
