Removal of all Virginian trim

How is the exterior trim - such as stainless/chrome around rear windows and belt line - attached?  I started to pull up some of the beltline trim but then reached a point where it was not popping off easy so that tells me it may be attached underneath by a fastener reached through the inside.  Is this correct?

Yes, some of the trim is attached with fasteners that are held in place with nuts.

The 49/50 Parts List shows the trim, fasteners, and how they're installed.  You have one, right (I know you'rre restoring one so probably a dumb question)?  ;)

I have the 49-50 Service Manual but not this Parts List.

I have received instruction that all of the belt trim, window trim is fastened from the inside so once I go get my tetanus shot I will start attempting to unfasten the belt moldings and window mouldings.  Near perfect rear glass, tinted, and hate to see it crushed.   So far no interest.
