I am looking for the Thermostat housing for a 1948 Kaiser

Also is there a good place to find refurbished upholstery Near Omaha NE

Hello  :)   You can check www.Kaiserbill.com..  remember continental red-seal engines were used in some vehicles. also on all the early portable Lincoln welder's.

It's Continental Redseal engine and they were used in Willys cars and Jeeps in the later 50s and also some Checker vehicles. I think Clark Forklift used Continental engines too if I'm not mistaken so if you know a Clark Forklift dealer in Omaha you may want to check with them. Otherwise, Terry Zeug or Rudy Phillips are good sources for KF parts. If you want their phone numbers etc. let me know.  For upholstery, one place is http://www.smsautofabrics.com/ in Portland, OR.  Don't know of any place near Omaha, I lived there 30+ years ago and knew where just about every Kaiser in the area was.  Gene Meyer in Blair, Nebraska may be able to help too.
