Darrin Tach driven gear
« on: October 04, 2012, 09:45:36 AM »
Hello again fellow Darrin owners.  I got an email from one of the buyers of the tach driven gear that I had reproduced.  He has it installed and his tach is working fine.  No noise or dancing of the needle in the instrument.  That's all a plus as far as I'm concerned. I know mine worked great also.  I talked to Olin at the machine shop yesterday and he says h made up 10 blanks, if you will, and has the program all set if any one wishes to give him a call requesting a new gear.  If the machine he runs this on is not tied up he said he should be able to get an order turned around in about 5 days.  If you wish to place an order just call WhiteHawk Machine and Tool Co.  903-450-1060 and ask for Olin Whitaker and he'll fix you right up.  Thanks for your interest in this.  He can and will make one of these at a time so there is no waiting period.

Olin does great work. These are very high quality and I could not be happier for the way mine works.
