Do these wheels stand up to the side stress of radial tires? My 46 Hudson wheels do not!

I use radials just fine with my 51.  Rides and handles like a different (better) car!

As a general rule the stock wheels flex and the hubcaps head for the weeds.....  Late model Chrysler Corp wheels will solve the problem.  Wheels from the Diplomat, and half ton Dodge full size vans work nicely.   The correct police will have a fit, but they won't be the ones chasing your hubcaps down the highway !!!!!!!

So these Dodge Diplomat wheels have the hole for the locator post?  What year Diplomats work?  I'm intrigued because my hub caps rub on the wheel, creep around, and make a noise that sounds like the bearings are grinding in sand.
