"1954 Kaiser Special" 2 door on ebay

just happened to see this car on ebay. The offering claims that this is a second series 1954 Kaiser Special and description infers that it would thus be more rare than the 3500 or so early specials. Unfortunately this offering is not a second series but the first series because it has the 1953 dashboard and the 1953 rear window (non-wrap around). It is ironic because the description mentions the early specials that were based on the 1953 and then infers this is not one of those. The person said they got the Kaiser history from the internet but apparently did not read more closely in what they found. Anyway early or late the two door cars are rare.

I suggested the seller do his or her homework and that this was an Early Special not the later one.  Of course, part of the problem is that bad information on the cars and company history is already on the internet and it seems those posting the wrong stuff could care less what they did.
