The Other Jack Miller Is In Hospital and Rehab
« on: June 04, 2013, 02:15:16 PM »
As some of you may know, there are two 'Jack Miller' old car guys ~ different spellings but same pronunciation. Yours truly is Historian for the KFOCI and long-time Kaiser owner who grew up near the body plant where the last Hudson bodies were built in the AMC days. The other Jack Miller's family sold Hudson in Ypsilanti MI (not far from the Kaiser-Frazer plant) and was the man behind setting up the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage facility in the Depot Town district of Ypsilanti.

Jack also had a strong interest in Kaiser-Frazer as evidenced by the prominence he gave cars and related items in the facility and was one of the key players in the set-up and growth of the annual Orphan Car Show in Ypsilanti where there was always a good turn-out of Kaiser-Frazer products.

I was informed this afternoon that shortly after Easter, Hudson/Ypsilanti Jack went into the hospital due to a fall at home & some other medical problems.  He is currently in rehab at a facility in Ypsilanti.  Good wishes, cards, etc, can be sent to Jack in care of the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum, 149 Cross Street, Ypsilanti MI 48198
