Newer member of the club recently purchased this Kaiser in the Desert.  He towed it home and I have assisted him with going through it completely.  He has decided to move on to another project.  The car has one of the remanufactured steering wheels.  If anyone knows anyone looking for a complete, running project car, this is a must see.

Why did he decide to not restore this car?  It would be interesting to know what was found that made him decide to move on.

He is 82, and he is just not able to shift it very easily with his bad legs.  He has a cane and just hurts him too much to drive it.  He is looking for another classic that's a automatic.

I certainly understand it.   I had to have an automatic also.  Best of luck!  It looks like a nice car and should sell quickly.

Too bad it's on the wrong coast. I'm after a stick O/D driver and this one would fit the bill!

Talk him down to 4,000, he will take it, and throw on a open carrier to easy coast for about $1200

Newer member Fred Shubin in Whittier, Ca was selling a little bit back.  he finally sold it for $3500.  Shortly after I helped him sell it, he passed away.  The new buyer admits he hasn't done anything to it since buying it, but he is now asking $7,750.  I have told him I will update this post but he is asking too much.  If interested in this great running 51, here's current picture and one of the sign. I have no name for guy.
