A few rooms may still available at The Lord Amherst Hotel, 5000 Main St, Amherst NY, 800-544-2200, www.lordamherst.com

Saturday evening we arranged a buffet banquet in the adjacent Sonoma Grille restaurant if we have 30 confirmed attendees by 8/16/13. The buffet menu includes: garden salad, sliced roast beef, grilled lemon herb chicken breast, ginger glazed salmon, roasted potatoes, seasonal veggies, rolls & butter, dessert, coffee & tea. A cash bar will be available.

If you plan to come, please send the Registration Form from the August Bulletin with your payment ASAP. If we don't get the 30 person minimum we will individually order off the dinner menu.

We have some fun & a 50/50 drawing (to offset costs in lieu of registration fee) planned for after dinner.

All are welcome to our home on Sunday ~ coffee/tea/OJ & donuts @ 10 am, hot dogs & fixins’ starting @ noon.

We have arranged a Hospitality Room @ the hotel ~ it is the first room on the left when leaving the lobby down the hallway to the guest rooms. We will open it Thursday evening as soon as we can get there after work (probably 5-5:30 pm). It will also be open Friday afternoon after 3 pm & Saturday between the car show & banquet.

We had an excellent turn-out for the Car Show at the GM plant, with a wonderful cross-section of K-F products (the only duplicates were 3 darrins, including Lee's Darrin Dragster and Darrin with large block V-8 engine under the hood).  Lee got trophies for both his cars, and a member from PA attending his first meet with his 1953 Kaiser deLuxe 2-door sedan got a trophy for his car.  About 400 cars were registered setting a new record for attendance at this show.  I was congratulated by one of the event organizers for getting the cars in; according to Peggy our group put attendance over the top.  Good weather, great cars and wonderful people...you couldn't ask for anything more.  Watch for more info in the October issue of the KFOCI MONTHLY BULLETIN.
