In need of an OD Relay

I believed I have purchased all the OD transmission parts I will need to install an OD transmission except for the OD relay. Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can purchase one? Thanks.

Early Kaiser-Kaiser, 51 or later Kaiser or Henry J??  Relays are different.

I you're looking for the type the Henry J used originally, Rudy's KF Parts had them for quite awhile. He likely still does but they're not cheap. His number is 1-760-789-3608.  If you belong to KFOC, put an ad in the bulletin, you may find a better deal that way but be  sure to specify it's for a Henry J as there are two different styles.  Actually, either style will work but if you're going for originality/authenticity you need the later '51-'55 style. If you use the earlier style, you'll have to wire it with terminals instead of using a plug/connector as the later style uses.

Wanting to do it the OEM way is always good. I  have found my HJ desires to outreach my pocketbook frequently. The original way when it comes to the relay and socket can be very expensive. I have used a relay like this one,6v. s.p.d.t. 60a., on ebay for $15.00. It will work identically to the OEM,does not need a socket and has modern performance prospects. I mounted it behind the dash,out of sight.

Since I also had a electric fuel pump,I used a second relay wired so that the pump only had power when it had oil pressure or the starter was energized,also mounted out of sight.

The OEM is single pole ,single throw, normally open relay. General purpose relays are usually double throw which allows you to wire the either normally open or normally closed.

It is difficult to read the terminals on this particular solenoid.OEM #3 & #2 definitely go across replacement #85& #87.OEM #1 goes to replacement #30. As best I can see it OEM #4goes to replacement #87.

Lowell has younger and stronger electric eyes than me. Best have him follow up.

I can't read those numbers on the picture either - even when I zoom in but yes, the other terminal is if you want to wire it so the contacts open when the coil is energized (normally closed) as opposed to closing when the coil is energized (normally open).  You need normally open for it to function as intended in the J.
