Oil Pressure sender

I'm thinking my oil pressure sender is on it's way out ('51 Special).

From what I can gather, it's a Standard PS-113.  Is this correct? Does anyone know a NAPA part number? Any other input would be welcome.

I just bought this one from NAPA the other day.  I haven't installed it yet, but comparing it with the one I took off, the new one will fit.  I don't know if it will WORK, but it will fit.
NAPA part 0P6603.   It uses a blade connector, not the hoop one like the old sender unit.

OK, I got hooked by this posting, to get my oil pressure gauge to work on my 53 kaiser manhattan. When I got the car it has a 80 PSI Oil pressure gauge clipped under the dash with a tube and connector going to the engine. The Gauge reads 30-40 PSI when cold or running on the hwy. When at idea it drops way down to below 10. Not sure if the aftermarket one is really telling the true Oil pressure or not. So I went to NAPA and got a OP-6747 ($30) which is the same as a OP-6747SB ($15). Both rated at 80 PSI. Not sure what the SB means but it was half the price.

Now the Question:
The new sender unit make the gauge go up and stays between 15-25 on the gauge. It does not really move around like the after market one does.

Do I expect to see a slow change from the Gauge or a rapid change in Oil presure? I get very slow movement on this Gauge, but it works great. Did not have to change the connector on the wire either.
Any help would be appreciated, I guess I should be glad it is back to orginal and it works.

Now I'm thinking I got the wrong one. OP-6747, you say. I haven't gotten to this project yet. Maybe I'll have to get that one. I think the other one is for a 100psi system. I thought that might be wrong... Hrmm

I just installed the new oil press sender and NAPA OD6603 does not work.  It reads oil pressure, but only shows just under the 20 on the guage.  Sorry for any mis-information. It is slow to respond to pressure variations which may be what you want for this application, I don't know.  I prefer immediate feedback myself.  So I ask again, what part works?

Don't sweat it. I haven't gotten to the project yet. I still have the sender in the box, and I live by the big NAPA hub for my area. They'll swap it for me no problem. Maybe I'll try out the 6747 if I get the time. That way, I don't have to cut any connectors, and can swap back easily.

I spliced the new connector in without removing the existing connector (on McBride's beautiful wiring harness!) so I can switch back without problem. I used the sender as is and noted that just under 20 ment 50 lbs and didn't sweat it.  The car ran great on a little trip to a local car show in Anacortes, WA and back for a total of almost exactly 100 miles.  That included about 60 miles of interstate.  I really runs great with the radials.
